Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a quiet adventure game about a traveler who arrives in a fog-wrapped village where the lanterns have gone dark. You explore scene by scene, talking to residents and solving grounded little puzzles to relight the place. It never rushes you.

The puzzles are logical rather than obscure — you rarely have to combine random objects hoping something sticks. Hints exist if you get stuck but the game never forces them on you. The art and ambient sound do a lot of heavy lifting for the mood.

It is short, maybe four hours, and I finished it in two sittings. I did not want anything more. It knows exactly what it is.
